Ethical Watchdog
The Ethical Watchdog Agent is a decision-support tool designed to support resource allocation and task assignments to comply with ethical relevant aspects in industrial scenarios. It monitors the outcomes of allocation processes, checking that decisions align with established ethical guidelines. This proactive approach helps to identify potential issues before they become significant problems.
When the system detects a deviation from ethical criteria, it automatically alerts the decision-maker. These alerts signal that certain parameters may have exceeded acceptable limits, prompting a review of the initial allocation decision. This early warning system enables a quick response to prevent unethical outcomes.
Following an alert, the decision-maker has the option to trigger a renegotiation process provided by a Multi-Agent System. During this phase, the tool recalibrates the allocation by taking into account both the initial performance indicators and the ethical requirements. This iterative negotiation ensures that the final decision meets both production needs and ethical standards.
The integration of the Ethical Watchdog Agent into operational processes benefit organizations from a balanced approach that combines efficiency with ethical oversight.
