A framework for the integration of a set of stationary and wearable sensors and AI-based analytics with optimisation functionality for worker based assessment of psychophysiological strain
This tool enables to digitally measure and monitor workers’ and decision makers’ Human Factors, such as, stress, in real-time while doing tasks.
It consists of a framework for a dedicated set of stationary and wearable biosensors, AI-based analytics for assessment and optimization functions.
The Intelligent Sensor Box can be applied to evaluate the ergonomy and design of industrial training and work environments.

The Intelligent Sensor Box also encompass the following topics:
The Intelligent Sensor Box: The Intelligent Sensor Box (ISB) is an architecture component with encapsulated data collecting and analysing services. Its purpose is to measure via sensors that are attached primarily to the human as well as to the workplace but keeping the privacy of the data. Only anonymous data are transferred to the overall system’s knowledge base for further processing. The ISB currently includes the AI-based physiological strain estimation and a heuristic version of the cognitive-emotional strain service, further a resilience score computation, and an expert and developer dashboard for monitoring the raw and metadata in effect over time.
